Physicians Assistant

Kelli Lugo, PA-C
Born and raised in the beautiful state of Vermont, Kelli Lugo attended Syracuse University for her undergraduate studies.  She graduated with Cum Laude honors and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.  While in college, she also obtained her EMT license and afterwards, she worked for a year and a half as an EMT and an ER tech in Los Angeles County, California.  Her Physician Assistant (PA) studies brought her back to the East Coast, where she attended the UMDNJ/Rutgers Masters PA program.  She was awarded the Certificate of Excellence for Outstanding Clinical Performance for her class during her training. 
 
Upon graduation from PA school, Kelli pursued her passion for surgery and comes to Treasure Coast Orthopaedic Associates with more than 6 years of surgical experience.  She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants.
 
When she is not working, she can be found chasing around her two crazy boys at the beach, at the park or spending time with friends and family. 

Physical Therapists

Karrie Chapman, Physical Therapist
Karrie Chapman has been a Physical Therapist since 2001 after graduating from the University of St. Augustine for Health Science in Florida with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She received her certification from Dr. Stanley V. Paris in manual therapy concentrating on cervical, lumbar and pelvic diagnoses of a complex nature. She takes a hands-on, kinetic chain approach to the diagnostic care of her patients. As a former professional ballerina, Karrie has a vast knowledge of body mechanics, flexibility and coordination. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Joyce Doyle, Physical Therapist
Joyce received her physical therapy degree in 1994 from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Joyce has over 15 years of outpatient orthopaedic experience in various settings. Her emphasis is in manual therapy/corrective exercise approach to the rehab process. She has participated in numerous continuing education courses, using Mulligan mobilization with movement and McKensie based treatments. Joyce belongs to the American Physical Therapy Association, sports therapy section, and the McKensie Institute Professional Association.
